1970 US Open At Hazeltine Ticket Score Card Pairings Sheet Course Map Tony Jacklin Winner
In 1970, Tony Jacklin became the first golfer born in England since Cyril Walker’s win In 1924 to win the U.S. Open He shot under par in all four rounds on a difficult Hazeltine National Golf Club.Included here is a 3rd tournament day ticket, an official USGA scorecard, a Pairings sheetfor the 1st and 2nd day rounds, and a map of the course sponsored by Standard Oil Co. The ticket still has its original string but missing its stub, the scorecard has writing on the
front, the inside, and the back. The map is in excellent condition. Jacklin’s historic win In 1970 lasted until 2010 when Graeme McDowell, another UK born golfer, won the U.S Open at Pebble Beach In 2010. Also included is a 1991 U.S. Open Course Map and Guide, also played at Hazeltine National GC and won by Payne Stewart.
