A 17-year old Tiger Woods made his 4th professional start at the 1993 GTE Byron Nelson Classic three years before his PGA debut at the 1996 Greater Milwaukee Open. Tiger would receive multiple sponsor exemptions starting at the 1992 Nissan Los Angeles Open, gaining experience and setting him up for future success.
