2000 PGA Cup Matches Team USA Tournament Issued Golf Bag and Trio of Headcovers for Bob Boyd
A professional tournament-issued golf bag and a trio of matching headcovers produced for American golfer Bob Boyd for the 2000 PGA Cup Matches. The bag is constructed from textured synthetic leather in a patriotic red, white, and blue color scheme, in a style attributed to Belding. The front pocket features an embroidered logo of the PGA Cup Matches trophy with the text PGA CUP MATCHES in navy and gold-tone thread, with the name BOB BOYD embroidered below in navy block letters. Both side panels display United States of America in red cursive script across a white diagonal stripe. A gold-tone brass identification plate is riveted to the base, engraved with 2000 PGA CUP MATCHES BOB BOYD. The padded shoulder strap features red and white stripes and a navy section with a gold-tone star. The set includes three matching navy blue headcovers with red circular tops, each featuring the embroidered tournament logo. The tops are marked with club identifiers 1, 3, and X in gold-tone material.
