2005 PGA Championship Tickets & Scorecard from Baltusrol Golf Club - Phil Win
This collection consists of official ephemera from the 87th PGA Championship held at the Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey with seven daily admission badges for the PGA Members' Club and Wanamaker Club. Each badge features a white string lanyard, a photographic image of the Baltusrol clubhouse, and a specific color-coded header: Monday (purple, serial no. 00048), Tuesday (orange, serial no. 00048), Wednesday (light blue, serial no. 00048), Thursday (pink, serial no. 00048), Friday (green, serial no. 00050), Saturday (yellow, serial no. 00050), and Sunday (red, serial no. 00048).
Also included is an unused official tournament scorecard for the 87th PGA Championship, detailing the 7,392-yard, par-70 course layout. The collection further contains two standard club scorecards for the Baltusrol Lower Course. One card features a printed list of U.S.G.A. Championships held at the venue from 1901 to 2000 and identifies the course designer as A.W. Tillinghast and the Golf Professional as Douglas B. Steffen. Completing the set is a multi-panel transportation brochure titled How to Ride to the 2005 PGA Championship, produced in partnership with NJ Transit. Items throughout the collection feature the PGA of America logo and the Baltusrol Golf Club logo of a red golf ball with outspread gold wings.
