6 Autographs on 3x5 Cards: Tommy Bolt, Ken Venturi, Ed Furgol, Orville Moody, Hale Irwin, and Andy North
Tommy Bolt (March 31, 1916 – August 30, 2008) won fifteen PGA Tour titles, including one major championship, the 1958 U.S. Open.
Ken Venturi won the 1964 U.S. Open. He was a regular winner during his early years on the PGA Tour after turning pro at the end of 1956. He again come close to winning the Masters in 1958 and 1960, both times being edged out by Arnold Palmer.
Ed Furgol (March 24, 1917 – March 6, 1997) won the 1954 U.S. Open. He accomplished n spite of a left arm that was crooked, shortened and stiff at the elbow- the result of an accident in his youth. Frugol played on the 1957 Ryder Cup team.
Orville Moody (December 9, 1933 – August 8, 2008) won the 1969 US Open. He was named PGA Player of the year for 1969.
Hale Irwin closed out three US Open titles (1974,79,90)on the regular tour and his winning has continued even as he passed 60 years of age on the senior version of the PGA.
Andy North turned professional in 1972. His career on the PGA Tour was moderately successful. He won the 1978 and 1985 US Open. North was a Ryder Cup player in 1985. Then in 1990 he won the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.
