A Pair of TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 Tiger Woods Special Edition Grind Golf Wedges in Presentation Box
Designed to Tiger Woods' specifications were these TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 golf wedges including his "Special Edition Grind" specifications. The set consists of a 56-degree sand wedge and a 60-degree lob wedge, both right-handed. The clubheads are constructed from 8620 carbon steel and feature "Raw Face" technology, designed to rust over time to increase surface friction and spin. The clubs are fitted with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 steel shafts and black Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord grips.
The set is presented in a maroon-colored commemorative display box with custom foam inserts. The lid of the box is printed in silver with a stylized "MG" logo above the text "TIGER WOODS" and "SPECIAL EDITION GRIND". Inside the box, a silver-toned metal plaque is centered between the clubs, featuring the "MG" logo and printed text reading "MILLED GRIND 2", "SPECIAL EDITION TIGER WOODS GRIND", and the "TaylorMade" logo.
Each clubhead bears several markings: the back of the blade is stamped "MILLED GRIND 2" and "TaylorMade", accompanied by a red "MG" logo. The 56-degree wedge is marked "TW-12" (indicating a 12-degree bounce), and the 60-degree wedge is marked "TW-11" (indicating an 11-degree bounce). The soles are stamped with their respective lofts, "56" and "60". The hosels are etched with "MILLED GRIND" and "8620 CARBON STEEL". The hitting surfaces are covered with factory adhesive stickers reading "TOUR PREFERRED RAW FACE" and "MAXIMUM SPIN PERFORMANCE • WILL RUST AFTER REMOVAL". The shafts retain the original "TRUE TEMPER Dynamic Gold S400 TOUR ISSUE" gold and black labels, as well as white TaylorMade informational stickers. The set includes a white envelope bearing a maroon TaylorMade logo with certificate included.
