A Set of Five 2022 Masters Tournament Tiffany and Co. Beautification Plates Gifted to John Daly
A set of five fine porcelain appetizer or dessert plates produced by Tiffany and Co. for the 2022 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. Each plate features a centered gold-tone Masters logo composed of a map of the United States with a flagstick. The rim is finished with a green lattice-patterned border and gold-tone edge, decorated with six polychrome floral transfers. These floral sprigs are identified with script labels as Pink Dogwood, Magnolia, Yellow Jasmine, White Dogwood, Azalea, and Nandina. The underside of each plate bears a circular mark with the Masters logo, bordered by the text MASTERS TOURNAMENT and AUGUSTA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB, above the year 2022. Below this is the mark © TIFFANY and CO. and the country of origin JAPAN.
The plates are accompanied by their original Tiffany and Co. blue box and a larger green presentation box with a gold-tone Masters logo on the lid. Documentation includes a Tiffany and Co. return slip addressed to professional golfer Mr. John Daly at a Palm Island, Florida address and a green gift card from Augusta National Chairman Fred S. Ridley which reads: We hope you enjoy this gift as a memento of the 2022 Masters Tournament. 7 1/2" diameter each
