Angela Bonallack & Catherine Lacoste Signed 1964 British Amateur Scorecard
Twice finalist in the Ladies British Open Amateur Championship, with just as many English Women's Amateur wins (1958 and 1963) Angela Bonallack played in six consecutive Curtis Cup matches and was married to World Golf Hall of Famer Michael Bonallack. This is her 1964 British Amateur scorecard signed by herself and notable playing partner that day Catherine Lacoste. Lacoste made history by becoming only one of two golfers to win both the Women’s Amateur and the US Women’s Open golf events. This accomplishment, at Las Colinas CC in Irving Texas, followed her 1967 Amateur victory where she became the first amateur golfer to win the Robert Cox trophy in 74 years to win that tournament.
