April 13, 1998 Augusta Chronicle Front Page Plaque - Mark O'Meara Win
It was tough to stop Mark O'Meara in 1998, as he won both the Masters and the Open Championship that year. He won the 1998 Masters in dramatic fashion, sinking a 20-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole at Augusta National to beat runners-up Fred Couples and David Duval by one stroke for his first Major. Offered here is a large commemorative plaque recreating the cover of the Augusta Chronicle from the day after O'Meara's win in 1998. The plaque measures 23" x 14 1/2".
