Arnold Palmer Signed 1960 U.S. Open at Cherry Hills Commemorative 18th Hole Flag

This commemorative golf flag is constructed of yellow nylon fabric and represents the 18th hole of the 1960 U.S. Open held at Cherry Hills Country Club. The flag features printed navy blue text including U.S. OPEN, the number 18, and Cherry Hills 1960. A hand-signed signature in black sharpie by Arnold Palmer is located in the center of the flag. A rectangular authentication sticker from Global Authentics is affixed to the upper right corner, bearing the serial number GV 278975. Arnold Palmer famously won the 1960 U.S. Open at Cherry Hills, which was his only U.S. Open victory. James Spence Authentication has reviewed this signature and a JSA ALOA will accompany this lot.
