Commemorative golf booklet titled Arnold Palmer: Athlete Of The Decade 1960-1970. The publication features biographical text by golf writer Bob Drum and stylized illustrations. The front cover features a tri-tone blue, green, and brown illustration of Arnold Palmer in mid-swing, signed in black felt-tip pen Arnold Palmer. The interior includes a sepia-toned illustration titled Arnie's Army by artist Pat Cudway. An interior page contains a handwritten inscription and signature in black ink that reads good luck, Jim! Ray Shafer. Raymond P. Shafer served as the Governor of Pennsylvania from 1967 to 1971. Arnold Palmer is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most charismatic players in the sport's history. In this lot we offer Arnie's black sharpie signature on a photo of him and his caddie on the greens. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
