Arnold Palmer Signed Index Card and Jack Nicklaus Ken Venturi Laurel Valley Press Photograph
This lot features an autographed index card and a vintage black-and-white press photograph documenting Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Ken Venturi. The photograph was taken by Morris Berman during National Golf Day at the Laurel Valley Golf Club. The image shows Nicklaus on the left holding a golf ball, Palmer in the center with an ABC microphone, and Venturi on the right. The reverse of the photograph displays a red-bordered label with handwritten text reading NAT L GOLF DAY - LAUREL VALLEY GOLF CLUB - NICHOLS, REFEREE - PALMER, VENTURI. It also includes a red photographer credit stamp for Morris Berman, a blue GOLFER stamp, and pencil editorial notations including 20 picas and 20 ems. The accompanying index card is signed by Arnold Palmer in black ink. The reverse side of the card includes a handwritten note dated August 3, 1982. JSA ALOA comes with lot for Palmer autograph.
