Augusta National Golf Club Trig-O-Lock Wood Cutout Wall Clock w/ Uncommon Original Box
Manufactured by The Trig-O-Lock Co. of Augusta, Georgia. The clock body is constructed from layered and finished wood shaped into a silhouette of the contiguous United States. It features a detailed representation of the Augusta National clubhouse and a red flagpole at the top. The central circular clock face displays a green map of the Augusta National course layout with the text AUGUSTA NATIONAL at the bottom. The clock hands are designed as miniature golf clubs, with a wood for the hour hand and an iron for the minute hand, complemented by a red needle second hand. Twelve miniature golf balls are inset into the surrounding wooden ring to serve as hour markers.
The reverse of the clock features a gold foil label printed with the manufacturer information: Trig-O-Lock, THE TRIG-O-LOCK CO., 2649 HENRY STREET, AUGUSTA GEORGIA 30904 U.S.A. An incised signature on the wood reverse reads M. L. Alexander. The piece is equipped with a battery-operated quartz movement, a metal sawtooth hanger, and three rubber wall protectors. Included with the clock is the original cardboard storage box with printed company branding and handwritten notations reading Cp Hall Closet and Cpt Helgran. Two original printed promotional and instructional pamphlets are also included, titled Sportsman's Hand Made Wall Clock and The Sportsman's Clock.
