Augusta National Limited Edition Forge de Laguiole Carving Set
This lot features a limited edition carving set produced through an exclusive partnership between Augusta National Golf Club and the French cutlery manufacturer Forge de Laguiole. The set includes a carving knife and a matching three-tine carving fork. Both pieces are meticulously handcrafted in Laguiole, France, using high-quality French T12 steel polished to a mirror finish. The handles are constructed from a textured green material representing Masters Green, secured with three decorative brass pins and finished with polished stainless steel bolsters and end caps. The knife features the traditional curved silhouette characteristic of the maker and includes the signature forged bee on the spring. The obverse of the knife blade and the neck of the fork are etched with The Masters logo, depicting an outline of the United States with a flagstick. The reverse of the knife blade is etched with the Forge de Laguiole logo and the words Tradition Qualité Original. Included with the set is a green textured outer presentation box with a gold foil Masters logo, a black inner presentation box with a silver Forge de Laguiole logo, an official Certificate of Authenticity, and an original Forge de Laguiole informational brochure. The certificate confirms the limited edition status and bears a hand signature alongside a circular seal.
