Ben Hogan Signed Vintage Hogan 6 Logo Golf Ball
The great Ben Hogan left his timeless black sharpie signature across the vintage 'Hogan 6' ball presented for bidders in this lot. Ben Hogan is considered one of the greatest golfers to ever tee up, and his swing and ball striking ability have withstood the test of time. Hogan is tied with Gary Player for fourth all-time in Major championship victories with nine (US Open: 1948, 1950, 1951, 1953; Open Championship: 1953; Masters Tournament: 1951, 1953; PGA Championship: 1946, 1948). He remains one of only five golfers to accomplish the coveted career Grand Slam, by winning all four Majors. It only took Hogan one try at the Open, where he won in 1953 at Carnoustie, his third major championship of that year. Ben Hogan signed golf balls command attention and typically garner a lot of interest in our auctions, as they are a medium in which he did not apply his name on often. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their sticker of authenticity (#B49087) will come with this lot.

NEW AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 9:00pm ET Sunday, July 18th. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval starting at 9pm ET. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
4. All lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 9pm ET
**Once extended bidding starts at 9pm ET, each lot will then begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid during extended bidding will close at 9:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you**
