This work on paper features a realistic portrait of legendary American golfer Ben Hogan, attributed to artist Paul Milosevich. Hogan is depicted in a characteristic pose, smiling and tipping his iconic flat cap. The artwork is executed in graphite with tonal shading on off-white wove paper. The piece is hand-signed in dark ink by Ben Hogan. This work appears to be part of the artist's Legends of Golf series. The verso of the sheet shows distinct bleed-through from the ink used for the Ben Hogan signature. James Spence Authentication has reviewed this signature and a JSA ALOA will accompany this lot.
