Bernhard Langer Signed Course Flown 'No Responders Left Behind' Flag
Bernhard Langer accumulated over 100 professional wins in his career, his two Major victories coming at Augusta National - The Masters Tournament in 1985 and 1993. Contained in this lot is a Bernhard Langer Signed Course Flown 'No Responders Left Behind' Flag. Langer left his name with a black sharpie on this course flown flag featuring the Statue of Liberty 10 years after the tragic 9-11-01. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
During the current COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses from around the globe have been disrupted or closed, forcing employees to be laid off or furloughed. Concerned about what is going to happen, all we can do is remain hopeful for a return to some sort of normalcy. Like so many others, it’s hitting the Caddies from the PGA Champions Tour hard as they have been without work since the Hoag Classic on March 8th. With fewer events, smaller fields, and enjoying their neighbors on the course, this tight knit family of PGA Champions Tour Caddies look out for each other like family, because that is what they are.
Martin Courtois, four-time Champions Tour winner Rocco Mediate’s bagman, felt there was something that could be done to help his fellow Caddies. One text led to a phone call, that call led to another, and the idea all began to snowball at a quick pace. Here we are at The Golf Auction a few weeks later presenting eclectic offerings to help raise funds to be distributed equally among the fulltime Caddies on the PGA Champions Tour.
There are items spread all throughout the auction to help benefit the Caddies, and you can view all of these by either perusing the auction page by page, or you can simply click the Caddies For A Cause category on the sidebar to place them on a single viewable page. Some of these items include one of a kind golfing experiences with professional golfers at prestigious courses around the country, unique signed flags, bibs, posters, gloves, photos, and much more. AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, June 21st with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing initial bid, you must agree to the terms before confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you**
