Bobby Jones Ad from The Standard-Star

Rare store display advertising sign, measures 19" x 14"

Sign like this rarely seen. The cardboard sign advertises for the newspaper "Standard Star" of New Rochelle, NY, promoting the Bobby Jones book and with excerpts each week in the newspaper..Circa 1930s after his Grand Slam of majors. This cardboard sign is in good condition for its age and fragility, there are repaired tears of each corner and some staining and creasing. The rarity of this sign outweighs any condition issues.
