Bobby Jones TLS-Party at Augusta National Content-Jones Letterhead Signed Bob

One page letter composed February 26, 1947 on the personal stationery of Robert Tyre Jones, Jr. discusses plans for "a little party at Augusta", "our miniature Jamboree last year" and "we expect to have ladies in the party". This was written to Augusta National Golf Club employee James Searle. Letter remains in near mint condition not taking into account traditional tri-fold creases to letter for mailing purposes and a mark in upper left hand corner where a staple was previously located. In closing Jones signs the letter simply Bob in black fountain pen.
