Byron Nelson & Gene Sarazen Signed Augusta National Golf Club Scorecards
In the 1990's, while this year's new legendary starters (Gary, Arnie and Jack) were still competing, the legendary starters at the Masters were Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead and Byron Nelson. They combined to win six Masters titles: Sarazen (1935), Nelson (1937 & 1942) and Snead (1949,52,54). This offering features flawless black sharpie signatures from two of those individuals, with Nelson and Sarazen each signing the top of the scorecard. Gene Sarazen was one of the world's top players in the 1920s and 1930s. He is one of five golfers to win all the current major championships in his career, the Career Grand Slam: U.S. Open in 1922, 1932, PGA Championship in 1922, 1923, 1933, British Open in 1932, and The Masters in 1935. Nelson is most famous for his 11-consecutive wins in his 1945 campaign, a streak that very likely will never be matched. James Spence Authentication has reviewed each of these three autographs and provide their letter of authenticity on the signatures in this lot.

Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, December 13th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you**
