Callaway Golf Arnold Palmer Signed Limited Edition 50th Masters Appearance Staff Bag JSA #Z86573
Here is limited edition Callaway Golf Big Bertha model staff bag commemorating Arnold Palmer's 50th appearance at the Masters Tournament in 2004. The bag is numbered 422/500. These bags were not signed at the factory but a scant few were signed subsequently by the King. Our consignor had this one signed at Arnold’s office in Latrobe. Arnold applied a perfect sit down signature on this bag. The signature is in bold gold sharpie and measures a whopping 9” Wide & 3 3/4” High.
The front panel displays an embroidered Arnold Palmer umbrella logo above the embroidered text Arnold Palmer's 50th appearance at the Masters. A brass-toned metal plaque is riveted to the top collar, bearing the engraved text “422 of 500 Callaway Golf celebrates Arnold Palmer's 50th appearance at the Masters – April, 2004.” The sides are decorated with large embroidered logos reading Callaway - Palmer’s club and bag manufacturer at this stage of his career. The top accessory pocket is embroidered with Masters Champion 1958 • 1960 • 1962 • 1964, and the padded carrying strap features the same years in white embroidery. This is a tournament sized bag, nothing cheap about this 2004 commemorative Masters bag.
The autograph is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA), certification number Z86573, dated September 19, 2018. The letter confirms the signature as genuine, identifying it as a metallic paint pen signature on a Callaway 50th Appearance at the Masters golf bag. A matching JSA certification sticker Z86573 is affixed to the lower left corner of the document.
