Captains Jacklin & Floyd, Gallacher Signed 1989 Ryder Cup Wedgwood China Plate
Signed by Captains Bernhard Gallacher and Ray Floyd, as well as The Concession beneficiary Tony Jacklin. This contest represented only the second Ryder Cup matches that ended in a draw, with the European team retaining the cup after their victory in 1987. The United States won the final four matches to tie up the overall contest at 14-14. This commemorative plate is produced by the renown Wedgwood company out of England and composed of Bone China. Please inspect the accompanying lot photos, including the second and final showing the excellent condition in which the black sharpie signatures have been preserved to. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot. 11" diameter.
