In a world of sport that has always been centered around numbers, this year's (2023) Masters and its most recent champion Jon Rahm produced a new entrant. 61: Roger Maris' single season home run record (in 1961). 100: Wilt Chamberlain's single game point total. Alas, the lucky digits of 49: John Rahm's 2023 Masters player number sported on his actual badge here, as well as the winning date of 4/9 and Countryman Seve's birthday. In the top right corner of Jon Rahm's issued vibrant stop sign red contestant badge unfathomably showcased before you is that number '49' in black across from 'PLAYER.' The winner's one-of-one prized contestant badge from the official maker Wincraft Inc exhibits a white shield outline encompassing the centered Augusta National Golf Club logo and '2023.' The numbered Masters contestant badges generally require the close examination of a pairing sheet to identify the player in which the individual example belonged to, but not this one. This historical contestant's badge was issued by Augusta National Golf Club to champion Jon Rahm prior to that week's result.
As a classy gesture from the high-character 28-year-old Jon Rahm, this player identifier #49 was then gifted as a generous token of appreciation to the owner of the home in which he stayed in that week - along with a signed and personalized Masters flag. The story is detailed in a signed letter of provenance from the consignor who opened her doors during the first week in April.

They were celebrating for Rahm and their golf country alike, as Spain would move past South Africa four second behind the United States with 6 Masters wins. The thoroughbred race horse and #1 player in the world had started behind Brooks Koepka by a 4-stroke margin, only to pass him Sunday afternoon. Finding 86 percent of fairways and 72 percent of greens in regulation certainly helps. The 2023 contestants badge is the highest form of credentials and scarcely found from any player with only 87 competitors that year in the Masters field. The champions' badge from this current year's Masters reaches new heights of collectability.
