Early Sterling And Cut-Glass Inkwell With Golfer Top
The sterling top on this 4 x 4 ½ “ inkwell features a jacketed golfer at the top of his backswing with course flag alongside.
A pen rest is incorporated to the rear of the lid.
The rim bears a hallmark which appears to be for London 1896 ( Lion passant, leopards head, and letter a. Makers mark “S U” is also present.
Overall a vey uncommon sterling and cut glass piece that displays very well.
