Frank Stranahan's 1952 MGA Open Championship 3rd Low Amateur Sterling Bowl
Exact confirmation on this 8 1/2" diameter by 2" tall bowl which is engraved on bottom 'Sterling 9429'has not been confirmed. Hailing from the Frank Stranahan collection it is thought to be from a Metropolitan Golf Association event. Better known as the M.G.A. this group with a rich history in the game has been hosting amateur golf since 1897.
A portion of the Frank Stranahan collection proceeds will be donated to The First Tee of Lake Erie.
