Vintage black and white press photograph featuring golfers Gene Sarazen, Hugh Anderson, and Harry Stevenson. The image captures the three men standing in a row on a fairway during Sarazen's 1936 tour of Australia. The photograph is hand signed by all three golfers in dark blue-black ink across the bottom edge. The signature for Gene Sarazen is accompanied by the handwritten date 1936. The back of the photograph features a purple ink stamp for The Argus in Melbourne, Australia, including a copyright notice and a handwritten negative number T 8677. Gene Sarazen was a prominent figure in golf history, being one of only five players to win the career Grand Slam. This item documents his international play during the mid-1930s.
