Jack Nicklaus Signed Augusta National Golf Club Course Flag
On the hallowed grounds of Augusta National Golf Club this pin flag was once flown, the only major championship host that does not change yearly - to everyone's pleasure. The only Masters 6-time champion, Jack Nicklaus, added his black sharpie signature in the center logo just below the stacked 'Augusta National Golf Club.' Welcomed signs on overall slight wear consistent to course usage can be found on this Augusta National Golf Club flag. Augusta National Golf Club has become the grandest stage in golf, each hole named after a flower that can be found on the immaculate property inspired by Fruitland's Nursery. This pin flag version was used for member's and guests during non-Masters play, coming in yellow and green colored variants. The yellow version is the one that is more common to see on the course. Augusta National Golf Club is on every golf fan's bucket list and this flag is on every Masters collector's. Please review the accompanying lot photos that exhibit the aforementioned wear, being up and down the tube insert material and consistent light wear throughout the flag. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
