Larry Mize and Doug Sanders Signed William Van Zandt Limited Edition Golf Portraits
This lot consists of two limited edition portrait prints after original graphite drawings by artist William Van Zandt, featuring professional golfers. The first print, dated 1996, depicts Larry Mize and is signed by the artist in pencil as Van Zandt. It is inscribed Larry Mize with the biblical reference Eph. 2: 8+9 and is numbered 24/250. The second print, dated 1986, depicts Doug Sanders and includes a bold black ink signature by the subject alongside a pencil signature by the artist, Wm. Van Zandt. This print is numbered 9/100. Both prints are executed on cream-colored paper and bear the artist's stylized VAN ZANDT mark. The works are unframed and have blank versos. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot. 11" x 14"
