Lee Trevino Signed 1968 U.S. Open Daily Pairing Sheets Booklet JSA #CB46020
This lot features a signed daily pairing sheets booklet from the 68th U.S. Open Golf Championship, held June 13–16, 1968, at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York. The front cover is hand-signed in black ink by Lee Trevino, who achieved his first major championship victory at this event. The signature is positioned across a color photograph of Trevino playing a shot from a sand trap. The item is authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA) and bears a certification sticker in the lower right corner of the front cover, numbered CB46020. The interior includes an alphabetical directory of the tournament field and the groupings and starting times for the final round on Sunday, June 16, 1968. Featured players in the directory include Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Sam Snead. The booklet contains vintage advertisements, notably a full-page advertisement for Utica Club Beer and a back-cover advertisement for Coca-Cola.
