Gene Sarazen Signed Augusta National Scorecard

Gene Sarazen was one of the world's top players in the 1920s and 1930s. He is one of five golfers to win all the current major championships in his career, the Career Grand Slam: U.S. Open in 1922, 1932, PGA Championship in 1922, 1923, 1933, British Open in 1932, and The Masters in 1935. This vintage scorecard dates back to when the Augusta National played to 6,925 yards. This year with big hitters like Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson in the field the Masters will be contested at 7,435 yards. Sarazen's black ink signature placed next to the scorer's designation (as was his favorite spot) has been analized by James Spence Authentication (JSA), and their letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on April 12th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
