This press photo of Walter Hagen and Gene Sarazen includes two of the most successful golfers of the 1920's and 1930's, and ever for that matter. They had their differences. Walter Hagen allegedly chose not to take part in the 1922 PGA Championship, simply to avoid a head-to-head match-up with the younger Sarazen who won that year's US Open. Nevertheless the twists and turns of golf history includes this friendly handshake at Pasadena, Florida. 6" x 8"
