Ernie Els Signed 2002 Open Championship Flag at Muirfield

Ernie Els signed this 2002 Open Championship at Muirfield flag following his first Open victory. The 'Big Easy' is a four-time major champion, winning the U.S. Open in 1994 and 1997 and the Open Championship again in 2012. He signed this flag clearly in black Sharpie. Els had to earn his first Claret Jug by winning a playoff over Stuart Appleby, Steve Elkington, and ultimately by beating Thomas Levet in a sudden-death playoff. This was the first four-man playoff in Open Championship history.
