1927 Wire Photo of Walter Hagen, "Dutch" Leonard, Jack Hart, & Ted Benedict
Offered here is a wire photo of the great Walter Hagen, along with "Dutch" Leonard, Jack Hart, and Ted Benedict. The picture shows the four golfers posing with their clubs. The 1927 wire photo comes in good condition, showing some wear on the edges of the photo. An article is included on the reverse side of the photo. Article on reverse reads as follows:
'After "Dutch" Leonard settled his "Salary Claims" and paid a fifteen thousand dollar mortgage on his ranch, he still had enough time and money left to play golf. Here he is paired with Walter Hagen against Jack Hart and Ted Benedict in an exhibition match played at the Sunnyside Country Club, Fresno, Calif. December 20th. Left to right - Walter Hagen, "Dutch" Leonard, Jack Hart, Riverside Pro; and Ted Benedict Sunnyside Pro.'
