1934 Wire Photo of Johhny Goodman Post-Swing at US Open


1933 U.S. Open winner Johnny Goodman is captured post-swing in this 1934 wire photo at the U.S. Open. Goodman became the fifth and final amateur to win the U.S. Open and he gained notoriety as a 19-year old when he defeated the great Bobby Jones in the first round of match play competition at the U.S. Amateur held at Pebble Beach. Dated 6/7/1934, this photo measures 6" x 8". Slight discoloration on front left center of photo.
