1953 PGA Championship at Birmingham CC Program - Walter Burkemo Winner
A program from the 1953 PGA Championship at Birmingham Country Club, located outside of Detroit, is offered in this lot. Local resident Walter Burkemo surprised many by winning the match play championship 2 & 1 over Felice Torza and the rest of the field, which may have been a bit watered down due to qualifying for the Open Championship taking place in the coming days. This program comes to you in great condition, with minimal wear present.
