Two Signed Masters Flags - 2006 by Jack Burke & 2007 by Charles Coody
This lot features two signed Masters flags by former tournament champions, Jack Burke, Jr. and Charles Coody. Burke won the 1956 Masters in dramatic fashion, by rallying from a Masters-record eight strokes back to pass and defeat an amateur Ken Venturi, who led the entire tournament, by one stroke. Burke signed this 2006 Masters embroidered flag in black Sharpie inside the logo. Charles Coody signed a 2007 Masters flag in black Sharpie, leaving his signature inside the logo. Coody's lone major came at Augusta National at the 1971 Masters, where he finished two strokes ahead of Jack Nicklaus and Johnny Miller.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
