Pinehurst No. 2 Golf Pewter Flask - Made in England

Offered in this lot is a Pinehurst No. 2 golf pewter flask, with a long inscription on the front and a listing of major tournaments held at the Resort & Country Club up until 1999. Original course designer Donald J. Ross leaves his assessment of the course he designed on the front of the flask. The reverse side of the flask lists the following tournaments held at Pinehurst No. 2: North & South Men's Amateur (Since 1901); North & South Women's Amateur (Since 1903); 1936 PGA Championship; 1951 Ryder Cup; 1962 U.S. Amateur; 1989 U.S. Women's Amateur; World Golf Hall of Fame Classic (1973-1982); Tour Championship (1991 & 1992); 1994 U.S. Senior Open Championship; 1999 U.S. Open (Payne Stewart winner).
