Arnold Palmer Medal & Jack Nicklaus Commemorative Act of Congress Medal
Two Commemorative medals honoring golf legends Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer are available to bidders in this lot. The Nicklaus medal features a portrait of Jack Nicklaus, his signature, and the inscriptions '120 professional victories' and '18 major championships'. The reverse features laurel leaves, emblematic of his Florida and Ohio home clubs. The six stars represent his five children and his wife Barbara. The inscription reads: 'Excellence in sport, promoting integrity and sportsmanship, and dedication to philanthropy and children's healthcare, with a lifelong commitment to family'. At the base says 'Act of Congress 2014'
Each medal has a 1 1/2" diameter.
