Offered here is a book covering the history of The Los Angeles Country Club up to 1973 by Jack Beardwood. Full title is 'From Browns to Green: A History of the Los Angeles Country Club, 1898-1973.' The course has a rich history, as hosted the Los Angeles Open in 1926, 1934, 1935, 1936, and 1940. The club is set to host the 123rd U.S. Open, its first major championship in 2023, the U.S.G.A. announced last year.
