1970 & 1978 Open Championship PRESS Arm Bands - Nicklaus Old Course Victories
Featured here are arm bands from the 1970 and 1978 Open Championships, both won by the great Jack Nicklaus at the Old Course at St. Andrews. Each band belonged to a member of the Press, and each come in good shape, showing some signs of age. Jack won his second Open Championship at the 1970 tournament, by one stroke in an 18-hole Sunday playoff over Doug Sanders. The Golden Bear completed the cycle for the career Grand Slam three times over by winning the Open in 1978, his 15th Major.
