Circa 1905-1910 Tom Stewart Smooth Face Iron
Tom Stewart was a renowned steel club head maker. Old Tom Morris used the clubs Stewart produced. Morris wasn't Stewart's only fan, as he made steel head for the likes of the McEwans, the Auchterlonies, and the Forgans. Offered here is a 1905-1910 smooth faced iron in good condition, showing some corrosion to the head and wear to the grip, please see photographs. The iron measures 38 1/2" to the heel.
