The oldest Father and Son golf tournament in the nation was in 1948 the Pater Et Folius, the Latin phrase fittingly translates to the father and son in English. The 1948 tournament's second low net team was Theobald R Grimler (Father) and Richard L Grimler (Son), as indicated by the engraving on the medal's reverse.
