Classic E.E. Ford Socket Wood with Brass Sole Plate
Containing a striped head is this circa 1920's E.E. Ford Maker socket wood club. Found in the sole is a brass plate attached with six screws. E.E. Ford was the golf professional at Plum Hollow Golf Club in Detroit, MI, with his name stamped on this club's crown. Ford was renown for his golf instruction and playing ability in addition to his clubmaking skills. This clubs is in good condition and 43" from the top of the grip to the bottom of the heel.
