Circa 1920 MacGregor Dayton OH. Cross Hatch Aluminum Head 1 Putter with Shaft Stamp
The Crawford McGregor & Canby Company opened up shop in 1897, becoming one of the initial American club manufacturers. During the 1930's the company was brought under new ownership and renamed Goldsmith - MacGregor, which then was quickly changed to MacGregor. This circa 1920 MacGregor Cross Hatch Aluminum Head 1 Putter is presented in good condition with stamps on head and shaft. "Made By The Crawford McGregor & Canby Co. Dayton, Ohio" the shaft stamp reads. 35" from the top of the grip to the bottom of the heel.
