1936 US Open at Baltusrol Contestant Badge - Tony Manero Winner
The 1936 US Open was held June 4–6, 1936, at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey. Tony Manero surpassed Harry Cooper in the final round to claim his first major, denying Cooper his elusive major championship. A contestants pin #29 (Stamped on Reverse) from that Championship is offered here. This pin is a top condition example of this highly collectible, issued to players only, for identification purposes memento. Reverse is clean and carries the stamping of its maker "Robbins Co. Attleboro".

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
