1971 PGA Championship at PGA National GC Contestant Badge/Clip - Jack Nicklaus Winner
There are greats of the game of golf, Hall of Famers if you will. Then there is another level of achievement in the professional game and this would encompass only five players in history; Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods representing the Career Grand Slam winners with Masters, U.S. Open, British Open and PGA Championship titles to their names. With Jack Nicklaus' win in 1971 PGA another tier of success was established as he capped off his second Career Grand Slam with his victory. Jack would reach the feat a third time in his career, a number since equaled by Tiger Woods. This lot features a contestant badge that would present well in any golf collection, giving the pertinent information about the 1971 tournament setting on white enamel with the colors royal blue and gold accompanying it on the contestant badge. This clip is in good condition, with slight overall wear that is to be expected and a small blemish on the white enamel.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
