Forty-Seven (47) Arnold Palmer at The Masters Wire Photos - Various Years
One of the biggest turning points of the Masters Tournament in the popularity of this treasured event was the arrival of Arnold Palmer. On Sunday, April 6th, 1958, Palmer claimed his very first Masters Tournament victory. Genuine emotion is shown on Palmer's face in this photo after his holing his final putt to secure the victory. Taking off his hat became common practice after big victories, most famously after the 1960 US Open. Arnie's Army soon followed him everywhere he went at Augusta. In the year 1964 Arnie won his fourth and final Masters Tournament. These help document the two-sided love affair Arnie had with The Masters.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
