1958 US Open at Southern Hills CC Thursday Ticket #728 - Tommy Bolt Winner
The scoring conditions during the 1958 US Open are well known. It was only fitting to see the feisty Oklahoman Tommy Bolt grind his way to his sole major victory. Bolt defeated Gary Player by 4 strokes, then again it was only the Black Knight's US Open debut, not too shabby for the then 22 year old. It is free from creasing and comes with the original string attached. Containing vibrant red and blue print, there are small blemishes likely stemming from the tournament's inclement weather conditions. The 1958 ticket features a color 'Deep-Rock' advertisement of a cartoon golfer swinging the club, as seen on this example.
