Ben Hogan Signed 1950 US Open at Merion 1-Iron Shot to 18th Green Poster
A gentleman by the name of Hy Peskin of LIFE magazine took this historic photo of Ben at the 18th hole of the 1950 US Open at Merion, one that possibly rivaled Hogan's golf shot itself in greatness. Under the improbable circumstances of the pressure of the moment and the club selection. Hogan pulled it off and won the 1950 US Open. Captured by photographer Peskin at just the right moment, this image is one of the most well-known ones in all of golf. Finding Ben Hogan signed oversize photographs proves difficult, making this image with his 10/10 black sharpie penmanship a marquee item. Bantam Ben signed his name in 'position A' just to the left of his him. Poster was produced in 1993 by the Ben Hogan Company, and is seldom seen signed by Mr. Hogan. 24 1/2" x 17." James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
