Jordan Spieth Signed The OPEN at St. Andrews Driver Headcover - Direct from The OPEN Officials
When the weather delay occurred at the 2015 OPEN Championship at St Andrews, the Twitter account of The OPEN ran a contest drawing for followers to re-tweet this exact signed head cover. Our Consignor did as they had asked, and was the lucky fan to win this item from The Open officials. Spieth signed his full name in blue sharpie on this white head cover that is embroidered with The Open Championship logo that includes the host St Andrews. To recount the leading story line going into this tournament, Jordan Spieth was attempting to complete the feat that very few had prior of winning three consecutive major tournaments. He finished tied for 4th and only a shot out of the playoff, with the wait being two more years prior to hoisting the Claret Jug in 2017. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
